Abstrak

The location of this research was carried out at SD Negeri 101814 Peria-ria on January 24-25 2024 with 22 subjects in class IV-A and 22 people in class IV-B. This type of research uses a quantitative method which refers to this type of quasi-experimental research approach with the research instrument being a 5-question essay test. Before learning, the initial test score for class IV-A = 33.5 and the average score for class IV-b = 35.45, after learning was carried out in class V-A using the Mind Mapping method and after carrying out the final test the students obtained an average 81, 06. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes in class IV-B using conventional methods were 71.81. The conclusion in this research is that the Mind Mapping learning method has an effect on the learning retention of class IV students at SD Negeri 101814 Peria Ria for the 2023/2024 academic year.
