TANGGUNG JAWAB PRODUK (PRODUCT LIABILITY) DALAM PERDAGANGAN EKSPOR IMPOR FURNITURE INDONESIA DAN SPANYOL

Abstrak

This research aims to examine the legal problems of the concept of product responsibility in the furniture import and export trade in Indonesia and Spain. The type of research used is normative legal research using regulatory, comparative and contextual approaches. The technique for collecting legal materials is literature study. The research results show that because there are differences in accuracy and understanding of the concept of product responsibility between Indonesia and Spain, the settlement of product responsibility to final consumers will be completed by the importer who is domiciled in Spain, and then the importer will request reimbursement for product liability compensation costs. has been handed over by the importer to the consumer through a contractual lawsuit (default) and/or a non-contractual lawsuit (illegal action).
