This research aims to determine the results of science learned taught used audio-visual media and used conventional learned to determine the significant influence of the use of audio-visual media on fourth grade students at SDS John Wesley Methodist School Lau Kesumpat. The population in this study were all 44 class IV students who were divided into 2 classes and also served as samples in this study. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design. The data collection tool uses a test where the test questions will be made in the form of a choice of 5 items with 4 alternative answers and the test questions are in the form of an essay test of 5 questions which are limited to the cognitive domains of C4 Analyzing and C5 Evaluating. Data analysis techniques use the t test and Chi Square test. The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained (1) Student learning outcomes in science subjects taught using audio-visual media learning obtained an average score on the post-test of 74.54. (2) Student learning outcomes in science subjects taught using conventional learning obtained an average score on the post-test of 70.90. (3) There is a significant influence of the use of audio-visual media on the science learned outcomes of class IV students at SDS John Wesley Methodist School.
