This research aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes using the scramble learning method for environmental material taught in social science. Implemented in class IIIĀ SD Negeri 065013 Medan. The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of students in environmental social science . The type of research carried out in this research is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) with a Pre-Test and Post-Test research design using two classes. The sample for this research was class III a (experiment) with 23 students, who used the scramble learning method and class III b (Control), with 19 students using conventional learning methods. The research instrument used was an essay test with 5 questions. Based on the calculation of the average score, the final score of students in the experimental class using the scramble learning method was 85.21 and the final average score of students in the control class using the conventional learning model was 74.73, the medium criteria. The results of the hypothesis in this study used the t test, the results of data hypothesis testing can be concluded that student learning outcomes in the science subject Environmental material are higher than student learning outcomes using conventional learning models in class IIIĀ SD Negeri 065013 Medan T.A. 2023/2024.
