Abstrak

This research aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes using interactive PowerPoint learning media on Natural Appearances material in social studies subjects. Carried out in class IV UPT SD Negeri 065013 Medan. The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of students in the Social Sciences subject on Natural Appearances. The type of research carried out in this research is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) with a Pre-Test and Post-Test research design using two classes. The sample for this research was class IV A (experiment) with 20 students, who used interactive powerpoint learning media and class IV B (control) with 16 students using picture learning media. The research instrument used was an essay test with 5 questions. Based on the calculation of the average score, the final score of students in the experimental class using interactive PowerPoint learning media was 84 and the final average score of students in the control class using picture learning media was 61.65. The results of the hypothesis in this study used the t test, the results of data hypothesis testing can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students using interactive PowerPoint media in the Social Sciences subject Natural Appearance material are higher than the learning outcomes of students using picture learning media in class IV UPT SD Negeri 065013 Medan T.P. 2023/2024.
