Abstrak

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Inquiry learning model on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at Quantum School Elementary School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population in this study was 43 students, namely all class IV of SD Quantum School for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of quasi-experimental research uses a selection technique, namely the total sample in class IVA as an experimental class and taught using the inquiry learning model. Class IV B as a control class is taught using conventional learning. The results of the research show that the science learning results of class IV A students got an average score of 41 after being taught using the Inquiry Learning model, the average final test result of class IV A students was 93. And the science learning results in class IV B got an average score of - an average of 47 after being taught using conventional learning, the average final test result for class IV B students was 90. And the results of the significance test showed that there was a significant influence on the science learning outcomes of class IV students using the Inquiry model rather than using conventional learning on science learning outcomes. Grade IV students at SD Quantum School Medan T.P 2023/2024.
