PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PUZZLE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS IV SD NEGERI 064023 KEMENANGAN TANI T.P 2024/2025

This study aims to investigate several key aspects regarding student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 064023 Kemenangan Tani during the 2024/2025 academic year. Specifically, it seeks to: 1) Assess the learning outcomes of students who are taught without the use of puzzle media. 2) Evaluate the learning outcomes of students who are taught using puzzle media. 3) Determine whether there is a significant impact of utilizing puzzle media on the learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The participants consist of 48 students from the fourth grade, divided into two classes: Class IV A, which includes 24 students, and Class IV B, also with 24 students. To measure learning outcomes, a multiple-choice test was employed, featuring a pretest and posttest comprised of 10 valid questions. Data analysis techniques applied in this study include validity testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that the average posttest score for students in Class IV B, who were taught using puzzle media, was 83. 75. In comparison, the control group in Class IV A, which utilized traditional teaching methods, achieved an average posttest score of 80. 83. Further analysis showed that the posttest data for Class IV B yielded a value (Lhitung) of 0. 61734 compared to the critical value (Ltabel) of 0. 22, indicating that the data is normally distributed. The homogeneity test produced an F value of 1. 41, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). This finding suggests that there is indeed a significant effect of puzzle media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject, particularly with regard to the concept of the life cycle of living organisms, at SD Negeri 064023 Kemenangan Tani for the academic year 2024/2025.
