This study aims to evaluate the learning outcomes of students instructed through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model compared to those taught without it, while also examining the impact of the PBL model itself. The research was conducted at SD 101809 Ajibaho during the 2024/2025 academic year, focusing on students from Class III-A, which included 30 students, and Class III-B, comprising 28 students. The research employed a quasi-experimental design and utilized multiple-choice tests to collect data. In terms of results, students in Class III-A, who were taught using the Problem-Based Learning model with a curriculum centered on living with nature, achieved an impressive average score of 79. 66. In contrast, the students in Class III-B, who were taught without the PBL model, obtained an average score of 60. The findings reveal a significant influence of the Problem-Based Learning approach on students' academic performance in science, specifically concerning the human life cycle materials, with a calculated t-value of 7. 173, surpassing the critical value of 2. 003.
