This study seeks to explore the impact of work discipline on teacher performance at SMK Swasta Dwitunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa. Work discipline is a crucial factor that significantly influences teachers' ability to perform their roles effectively, particularly regarding adherence to rules, punctuality, responsibility, and resilience. To assess teacher performance, which serves as the dependent variable, the study evaluates several indicators: lesson planning, implementation, learning evaluation, and professional development. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research employs a survey method. The sample includes 22 teachers from the institution, chosen through a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire, and simple regression analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship between work discipline and teacher performance. The findings reveal a positive and significant relationship between work discipline and teacher performance at SMK Swasta Dwitunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa. This is supported by the calculated r-value, which exceeds the r-table value at the 0. 05 significance level. The results indicate that enhancing work discipline could lead to improved teacher performance. Thus, it is recommended that school management focus more on fostering work discipline to bolster teacher professionalism.
