This study aims to assess the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Negeri 060938 Medan Johor during the 2024/2025 academic year through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Additionally, the research intends to compare these outcomes with those of students who are not instructed using the PBL approach and to analyze the significant effects that PBL has on student performance in IPAS. Conducted at SD Negeri 060938 Medan Johor, the research employed a quantitative approach utilizing a Quasi-Experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Control Group. The study involved two classes: the experimental group (class VA) and the control group (class VB). The research instrument was an essay test comprising five questions, and the total population included all 44 fifth-grade students at the school. The sample consisted of 25 students from class VA and 19 students from class VB. The findings revealed that students taught using the Problem Based Learning model achieved an average score of 85. 56, whereas those who did not experience this teaching method obtained an average score of 74. 74. Hypothesis testing confirmed a significant impact of the Problem Based Learning model on students' learning outcomes.
