PENGARUH MEDIA FLASH CARD BERBASIS AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA SISWA KELAS I SD NEGERI 064025 MEDAN TUNTUNGAN T.A 2024/2025

This study aims to determine the effect of beginning reading using audio-visual based Flash Card Media on Class I Students of SDN 064025 Medan Tuntungan in the academic year of 2024/2025. The method used in the study is Quasi Experiment with a Pre-test and Post-test research design. The study was conducted on 23-28 November 2024 with a population of all students in class I-A and I-B totaling 56 students, all of whom were research samples. The data collection technique in this study was an oral test of 5 questions. The pretest results showed that the average score of class I-A was 50 and class I-B was 53. After the treatment, the posttest results increased to 91 in class I-A and 65 in class I-B. Hypothesis testing produces (9,6654) > (2.0048) indicating that is rejected and is accepted.. From the results of the data hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of audio-visual based Flash Card Media on the beginning reading skills of Class I Students of SDN 064025 Medan Tuntungan 2024/2025
